About The Panhandle Gives
The Panhandle Gives is a 9-day charitable giving event hosted by the Amarillo Area Foundation. It kicks off the Monday before Thanksgiving and wraps up on Giving Tuesday—the global day of generosity. In 2025, the campaign runs November 24–December 2.
Nonprofits eligible for AAF grants can register to participate. Each organization keeps 100% of the funds they raise, and those that raise at least $250 also receive a percentage match from the Amplification Fund—a pool made possible by foundations, corporate sponsors, and individual donors.
This initiative strengthens nonprofit work across the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle, encouraging collaboration and expanding community impact. In 2024, The Panhandle Gives raised an incredible $11.7 million—and we’re ready to do it again.
